Frozen in Time

Was thinking of some moments in my life that bring me great joy. The first time I saw my wife which was the precise moment I fell in love with her. Saturday night hockey games with my Grandfather who spoiled me rotten. Watching my sister walk down the "aisle" with "Rain Song" playing in the background. Assisting on a goal for a young kid who had never scored a goal and seeing the excitement and joy on his face and his fathers. Walking on the ice on Lake Erie with my daughter talking about the Arctic, sink holes, pressure points and the best ice for sliding on.

Ooooh yay! You took her on the lake. That must have been a great adventure.

Is she sticking that icicle up her nose?? Maybe she takes after her Dad then...

I love it that I can FEEL the relationship you have with your girls. If feels honest and true and wacky and fun.

You talk about girls a lot....Not just yours but your lovely sister and your wife and such....you like girls eh? LOL

Anita, I am just a proud parent, not unlike most. You know exactly what I mean, proud momma. As for me liking girls, well....lets just say I was never one to talk a lot of shop.

I wonder what makes us drawn to one sex versus another (and I don't at mean the sexual way). I personally would much rather hang out and work with guys. I find them easier to deal with, less emotional and reactive in most cases....

You should be proud. By what you have said, they sound bright and inquisitive and funny as hell!! ;-)
