As 12:00 am Approaches
I want to wish everyone a happy new year now in case I pass out in the next few minutes. I am sick. So very sick. I just want to get drunk and crash cars. No pity replies please. Just be good to yourselves and I thank you for being in my life. Make a resolution you have a chance of keeping and try to do something nice for a loved one today like fetching them a barf bucket or some gravol.

I gave you the plague! So sorry. I went to the Dr. on Saturday -- It is not strep throat, just a part of this bad flu bug. My sore throat lasted form when we left Dover to today. It's just starting to feel better now. The salt-water gargle has given me the best results so far for relief. I broke down and used Cepacol spray to numb it so that I could swallow and took ES Tylenol to numb the pain. Make sure the place is humid enough too :)
Today I woke with body ache and sinus issues and was glad, cause my throat wasn't that sore ;(
Oh man. Five days of sore throat? I am going to go get some morphine. I have aches today more than I did yesterday and I am soooo tired. I have been sleeping 11-14 hrs/day. I was going to go to the walk-in tomorrow, but if its just a flu I will give it a few more days. Well, at least I got to play Ra and Settlers of Cataan and did B-52 shots. I just got out of the bath after an hours soaking and smelling the patchouli soap. Thats happy times.
Oooooh -- Bath salts. Have you any? I took a few hot baths with sea & epsom salts. It really helped/is helping. Does Theo still have a stock of that eucalyptus stuff from school?
Keep the throat mois. I'm so sorry I got you sick. You've been sick enough!!!
It's funny that I am the one who is sick, yet it is my lovely wife who becomes increasingly whinier about the situation.
Tell her you got strep from her gammy thumb. It's totally her fault!

Wow, I can't believe how sick everyone is getting.
When we were up north Sean got sick again, I think its the same cold that keep resurfacing...his sister in law too. I feel lucky it hasn't hit me - but damn is that flu nasty. I blame the fucked up weather.
I agree about the weather. I also think this mutation of the flu virus is nasty and will continue to get worse.
