My charismatic brother-in-law told me about this game (Eve online) at a time when I was searching for a new diversion. Now? I am mainlining Eve straight into my brain. It's so addictive that i really should quit playing. He was right; I just might lose my wife over this game.

krista, it is a lot of fun and at present they are offering a free two week trial.
bones, 17 hours should mean a divorce. What I like about this game is that you can improve without actually playing so managing my family life is not a problem. So, divorce remains unlikely.

Did it take you a million years to download it?
it took a while to download. its a fairly big game. It was also a little intimidating at first. the game has a lot of things to it, hence a lot to learn. the tutorial helps, but mind you have to put some time in your first sit down. if you plan on trying the game out and need any help e-mail me.
Yarg! It doesn't like Mac...and that was after waiting a really really long time to download - I think I'm just gonna save the frustration and stick with xbox...the new NHL is waaaaay fun.
