Home Alone

My lovely wife is away with our two beautiful children for a few days visiting family in Toronto. Lovely and beautiful for I am all alone which means the toilet seats are up, the dishes are in the sink and I am absolutely stuffed on junk food. Mmmmm, homemade pizza, donuts, M & M's. I feel so fat and happy.

It's 6 a.m. and I am awake and hungry...damn you braids - I'm going across the street to the tim hortons for some doughnuts. It's in a gas station so I can also score some other stuff. As for M and M's Sean's Mom gives him a "mega stocking" every year full of chocolately fun of every possible incarnation.
I think I can read looks of fear on the faces of people in the donut shop when they see ALL of me coming.

Tim's, while traditionally our donut mecca, can not hold a candle to the donuts at our local Zehr's. They are larger, fresher, tastier and cheap. Picture a Horton's apple fritter twice the size with mre apple just freshly made that morning. Nevermind, someday I will visit Toronto and bring you a dozen.

mmmm apple fritters.
I would gladly accept a dozen of those beauties.

stop taunting the pregnant one! Poor Sean will be running all over god's green earth to satisfy her cravings.....LOL....

How many days before that ceases to be fun anymore? ;-)

krista---just fritters? they have these chocolate covered cream filled ones that are good too. Eclairs, dutchies...you name it.

Anita----I have to taunt. It's all I have. Besides, us men running around for our pregnant women is good exercise.

Everything is very close by here...there is a french bakery across the street - Geez! And my fries and gravy connection is literally beside our house.
I've never really been into the creme filled donuts, but dutchies are great.

I hope you're staying up late into the early morning hours and leaving lights on all night!

Snay---of course. I would never let the team down when called upon.
